Chunked Elk
Whole Muscle Chunks. Rich, Dark Red Meat.
Our Elk Chunks are whole, boneless elk meat, sourced from pastured elk that are farm-raised in New Zealand.
This elk is hormone and antibiotic free and not enhanced. It has been previously frozen at negative 10 degrees and is ready to feed. It should be fed as boneless muscle meat, making up roughly 80% of a complete raw diet. It's a very rich, dark, red meat, and despite that deep color, it's naturally one of the leanest red meats available. It pairs well with several of our supplemental raw food base mixes.

Raw Feeding Fact
Elk are among the most migratory land mammals in North America, with some herds traveling over 100 miles between summer and winter ranges each year. That kind of sustained endurance demands muscle tissue that's extremely efficient at storing and using oxygen, which is part of why elk meat carries such a deep, dark red color and runs naturally higher in iron than many other red meats. It's a good option to rotate in for pets who could use extra dietary iron.
