A Glandular Organ Meat For Raw Rotation.

Our Goat Testes are a rich, glandular organ meat from pastured goats, offering a novel red meat option for pets that need a break from beef, chicken, and pork.

Testes are glandular tissue, which sets them apart from muscle meats like heart or gizzard. In a prey-model diet, glandular organs are fed in small, measured amounts and are generally counted toward the organ portion of the diet rather than the muscle meat portion. Goat is also considered a novel protein for many dogs and cats, making this a useful option for rotation feeding or for pets that have reacted to more common meats. Because no two testicles are the same, pieces will vary in size, shape, and weight from pack to pack.

Raw Feeding Fact

Organ meats are rich enough that new ones should be introduced gradually, and glandular organs are no exception. Start with a small piece mixed into a regular meal and watch the stool, since an overly rich portion is the most common cause of loose stools when a new organ is added. Once your pet tolerates it, rotate it in occasionally rather than feeding it daily, the same way you would with liver or kidney.
