Boneless Ground Venison
NEW ZEALAND Pastured. Farm-Raised. Ground In-House.
Our Boneless Ground Venison is ground in-house in small batches, sourced from pastured venison that are imported from New Zealand.
This venison is hormone and antibiotic free and not enhanced. It has been previously frozen at negative 10 degrees and is ready to feed. Venison is naturally one of the leanest red meats fed raw, with a higher protein-to-fat ratio than beef, making it a solid option for pets who need to manage their weight or do better on a lower-fat protein. It's also a genuine novel protein for elimination diets, since most dogs and cats haven't been exposed to venison the way they have to beef or chicken in commercial kibble. It pairs well with several of our supplemental raw food base mixes and works well in either a raw or homemade cooked diet

Raw Feeding Fact
Venison is technically a catch-all term for the meat of any deer, and most of what's sold as venison in the US, including this one, comes from pastured, farm-raised deer rather than wild-harvested game. That distinction matters for food safety: wild-harvested venison isn't subject to the same inspection process as farm-raised meat, and it can carry a much less predictable parasite and pathogen load depending on what the animal foraged. Farm-raised venison like this gets you the same naturally lean, mineral-dense profile without that uncertainty.
