Skinless & Boneless Dark Meat. Customer Favorite.

Our Turkey Thighs are skinless, boneless dark meat sourced from all-natural birds, hormone and antibiotic free and not enhanced.

This is a customer favorite, and it's an especially great option for feeding cats and ferrets, since dark thigh meat naturally runs richer in fat and iron than white breast meat. It should be fed as muscle meat, making up roughly 80% of a complete raw diet. It pairs well with several of our raw food base mixes.

Muscle Meat Hormone & Antibiotic Free
This listing is for 2.5 LBS of raw, boneless turkey thighs.
Also available as a Freeze Dried Turkey Tenders treat.

Raw Feeding Fact

The dark color of turkey thigh meat comes from myoglobin, an iron-rich protein that muscles use to store oxygen for sustained activity. Thighs are built for walking and standing, so they're packed with slow-twitch muscle fibers loaded with myoglobin, unlike the white breast muscle built for short bursts of flight. That's part of why thigh meat naturally runs higher in iron and B vitamins than breast meat, and why it's such a popular choice for cats and ferrets, whose bodies are built to thrive on nutrient-dense animal tissue.
