The same gut-supporting superfood as our ground tripe, just left in whole pieces. Our Green Tripe chunks come from the stomach lining of grass-fed and finished cattle, left unwashed and unbleached so its natural enzymes and bacteria stay intact.
Feeding tripe in whole chunks rather than ground gives your pet more to work for, which can help slow down fast eaters and add some natural chewing activity to mealtime. Sourced from local, pasture-raised and finished, non-GMO cattle, these chunks pair well with our supplemental raw food base mixes and can be fed on their own or mixed into a homemade raw or lightly cooked diet. Color can range from green to grey to brown depending on what the cow was grazing on, that variation is normal and has no effect on quality.
Raw Feeding Fact
In the wild, tripe is often one of the first parts of a kill that wild canines and felines go for. Because a grazing animal's stomach contents are already broken down through fermentation, tripe delivers a dose of pre-digested plant nutrients, including B vitamins and short-chain fatty acids, that a strict carnivore couldn't otherwise access from meat alone. Feeding it in whole chunks lets your pet tear and chew through it much like they would in that natural sequence.
