Raw Bovine Colostrum
Nature's First Immune Food. Raw. Unprocessed.
Bovine colostrum is the nutrient-dense milk produced by cows in the hours after birth, packed with immunoglobulins, growth factors, and bioactive compounds that support immune function, gut health, and recovery.
Colostrum is not a supplement in the conventional sense. It is a whole food that mammals have relied on since the beginning of life, and bovine colostrum is biologically compatible enough with dogs and cats that its benefits carry over directly. The immunoglobulins it contains -- primarily IgG -- help support and modulate the immune response, making colostrum particularly valuable for animals dealing with allergies, chronic inflammation, illness, or post-surgical recovery. Our raw colostrum is second milk, collected after the newborn calf has had full access to its mother for 36 hours. This means the calf's needs are fully met first, and only the surplus is collected. It is hormone and antibiotic free, not enhanced, and sold raw to preserve the full spectrum of bioactive components that heat processing would otherwise destroy.
Bovine colostrum contains up to 40 times more immunoglobulins than regular cow's milk. These antibody proteins -- particularly IgG -- are absorbed intact through the gut lining in newborns, and research suggests they continue to exert meaningful immune-supportive effects in adult animals as well, especially in the gut-associated lymphoid tissue that lines the digestive tract.
